she spilt wine and I laughed

currently listening to: white light/white heat- velvet underground (but you knew that, I hope...)

Yeah, haven't been looking for much stuff recently and all, but I'll try to find something cool here to share. Hopping a boxcar right about now would be pretty fun. Although I would have to have the bare necessities, like food and water and warmth. It's winter son, what you know 'bout winter? I know all about winter. You should listen to the song Cross Eyed Mary by Jethro Tull because it's just that good. After you do that you should then turn around and listen to Clutch's cover of the song in question. I guarantee you will be pleasantly surprised because it's more of a homage to the song than anything else.

Just thought I'd put this song up because it's a pretty song with a hint of morosity that we have come to expect from the Pumpkins. Sometimes a song just speaks to you, so thought I'd share it. Listen to Believe by the Smashing Pumpkins and read the lyrics as well.

Close your eyes
Until the sunlight dies
In your head a thousand stars
Through the darkness you can see a light

And if they steal your life
Your heart is still mine

I want to believe in you and I heard you
Your song, you sing, a truth, there's no other
I want to believe in you, dear

On Sunday...

There's a life I hide
Well I tried to disguise
And I can take you a million miles away

I want to believe in you and I heard you
Your song, you sing, a truth is no other
I want to believe in you, dear

On Sunday I made amends
Of all my mistakes
May God speed be with you

Oooh...oooh...oooh...oooh
and I...
I want to believe in you and I heard you
Your song, you sing, a truth, there's no other
I want to believe in you and I heard you
Your song, you sing, a truth, there's no other
I want to believe in you and I heard you
Your song, you sing, a truth, a lover
I want to believe in you and I heard you
Your song, you sing, a truth, there's no other
I want to believe in you, dear
On Sunday
On Sunday I made amends
For all my mistakes
May God speed be with you
